Worship Residency

As a former worship leader himself, our pastor Jeff, is looking for worship leadership to commit to help building the worship ministry at Christ Redeemer. We have a growing community of musicians which includes a few folks who are currently volunteering to lead worship each week. We are looking for a passionate man/woman to utilize their musical and leadership gifting to work with these volunteers.  This is a great opportunity for someone wishing to develop leadership skills in a volunteer environment with experienced coaching available.

The term for the residency will vary depending on each situation but longer term team members should expect a commitment of 2 years.  Compensation and living arrangements will be worked out with potential candidate during the interview process, but candidates should be prepared to raise funds and/or work bi-vocationally.

Interested candidates can contact jeff@christredeemer.org for more information.

Youth Residency

We are a covenant community and have made discipling the next generation of church leadership one of our main focuses.  The city of Jonesboro has 5+ school systems operating within it borders which provide us with plenty of opportunity.

Working alongside other volunteers to serve this population here in Jonesboro takes special people.  We are looking for motivated individuals with a "unique set of skills" who share our passion to see this generation grow their love and affections for Christ as they learn who Christ has made them and how He has gifted them to bring Him glory.  This will mean building bridges in the community as well as serving this season of life within our church.

As we grow this ministry we will be looking for long term team members as well as short-term seasonal team members.

Pastoral Residency

Church planting provides a unique and fruitful backdrop for growing in ministerial experience because there is always more opportunity than there are seasoned leaders!

For motivated individuals who are looking for opportunities to serve and grow the local church as they "try on" vocational ministry we offer a pastoral residency.  The benefit for us is extra hands and hearts to grow the kingdom and God's people.  The benefit for the resident is experience and opportunity in a community committed to developing the next generation of church leadership.

The term for the residency will vary depending on each situation, but usually it is a commitment of 2 years.  Compensation and living arrangements will be worked out with potential candidate during the interview process, but candidates should be prepared to raise funds and/or work bi-vocationally.

Interested candidates can contact jeff@christredeemer.org for more information.

Calling All Retired Pastors

North East Arkansas provides a unique opportunity because there aren't many reformed congregations in our entire region.  As we seek to grow and deploy leaders and pastors from the area for the area, there is great need to help shepherd, teach, and equip the doctrines of our faith to our Covenant community.  We believe in multigenerational discipleship which means you are never too old or young to be useful in the kingdom of God.  Leaders cannot be grown overnight and we believe there is often great wisdom and experience "sitting in the stands" when they are still sorely needed "in the game."

If you are currently retired or without call but still have a desire to be helpful in building God's church, Jonesboro is a great place with plenty of need.  We would welcome those pastors willing to relocate to our area to help serve the church.

Jeff would love to hear from you at jeff@christredeemer.org.
