Gospel Ethics, Galatians 5:16-26

This week Jeff begins to wrap up our series on the book of Galatians, Recovering Christian.  Paul in chapters 5-6 turns towards the practical implications of the true gospel to the everyday.  This is part 2 of our look at the ethics of the gospel which focuses on being filled with the Spirit.

Paul's letter to the Galatians is written to believers who have exchanged the REAL gospel for legalistic traditions or counter gospels.  We relate to this as both victim and perpetrator.  Whether legalistic traditions, success, security, we often wander away from the true gospel and find ourselves pursuing other things than Christ Jesus.
