Our Mission

The foundation of any great community is devoted relationships. These relationships require both time to grow and a common desire to know Christ more. (Proverbs 27:17, Hebrews 10:25 )

As we learn to die to selfish ambition and live for Jesus Christ, we desire to have our hearts softened so they resemble that of Christ. (Philippians 2:4-8, Micah 6:8)

We've been called to go out into our community and into world, learning to love all of God’s creation with a Christ-like love as we open our hands to serve all those in it. (Matthew 22:37-40, Jeremiah 29:4-7)

Our Vision

Our vision is to live as the family of God together, demonstrating and proclaiming the gospel of grace to one another, our town, and the world.

First, this means loving God and loving others in the midst of life’s difficult and joyous seasons.  Secondly, it means growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Finally, it means serving the town God has called us to and beyond.

Our Core Values

To Live as a Family

This means that we always pursue unity as we practice indiscriminate love, regardless of social, economic, or racial status.

To Be Rooted in Scripture

This means that we always look to the living, inspired, and inerrant Holy Scriptures in all that we do.

To Make Disciples

This means nurturing and building authentic relationships with others for the purpose of growing them to spiritual maturity so that they are equipped to go and do the same in the lives of others. This is the process of multi-generational, life-on-life, missional discipleship.

To Serve Our City

This means we pursue and promote unity and biblical reconciliation in and around our city, getting our hands dirty helping to battle injustice and to build The Kingdom in Jonesboro.

To Advance the Mission of Christ

This means that we help support and plant new churches both here and abroad.
